CSBA supports the following activities:

Planting striped bass in Millerton Lake east of Fresno, California Collecting and installing 2,000 Christmas trees to create fish habitat at Millerton Lake

Helping physically challenged children catch trout at Kids Catch A Smile Day in Modesto and Sacramento, California. Stockton invites challenged children to "Kids Fishen & Grinnen" day for trout fishing. Financially supporting the Disabled Veterans Salmon Fishing Derby in Monterey Bay and the Casa Grande High School student-operated salmon hatchery near Petaluma, California

Supporting free kids fishing derbies in the West Delta, Oak Grove Regional Park and Brannon Island State Park

Awarding scholarships to graduating high school seniors to pursue degrees in fisheries management and conservation
