CSBA Isleton chapter will be hosting an all chapter shark derby on September 13, 2008 at the Richmond Marina Bay. Isleton Delta Chapter of CSBA is hosting a Dinner Dance fundraiser on
May 31, st at the Lighthouse Resort Clubhouse in Isleton. Tickets are
$40 a couple. They can be obtained from Barry Canevaro, or any other
board member. They are not available at the door.
There will be a live band, BBQ rib dinner, silent auction and raffle.

Stockton Chapter
The Stockton Chapter of the California Striped Bass Association will be
hosting the 12th Annual Kid’s Fishin’ and Grinnin’ Day on Saturday,
May 3, 2008 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Waterloo Gun and Bocce Club located
at 4343 Ashley Lane in Stockton. This event is for disabled youth aged 4 –22
from San Joaquin County who will fish for rainbow trout in a specially designed
pond. Participants will receive a goodie bag and special gifts. A hot dog and
pasta lunch will be served for all participants and volunteers. Entertainment
will be provided for participants and visitors. Information is available at

Stockton Chapter awards scholarships to persons who are pursuing education leading to careers in Fishery related fields.(Info: Dave Hurley 209-610-1600)
Six meetings a year are devoted to guest speakers.
Stockton received a prestigious award from the San Joaquin County Staff Teachers Association for our support of the program at Durham Ferry School. Virtually all of our local and state politicians sent congratulation to the chapter.
